The Bectu/Timewise report

This week's Bectu/Timewise report is really well done. I undertook my own research project 5 years ago interviewing Production Managers and focusing on how long working hours in TV production created a barrier to those with caregiver responsibilities and many of my recommendations are echoed in this report.

One of my favourite takeaways is 'despite the barriers, our conversations with leaders and crew highlighted examples where flexibility is already in place successfully. A consistent feature of these was having a leader who embraced flexibility, often because they wanted to work flexibly themselves or had prior experience of managing a flexible team'.
