I am an experienced and highly motivated professional with a strong background in education, teaching and learning and educational systems.

I have acted as both a leader and line manager of teams, projects, screen productions and educational programmes throughout my career, including leading my current institution's Television, Film & Digital Media Production Management MA programme. I have managed staff in various environments and, as a Programme Leader, collaborated successfully with academics and industry professionals who contribute to my modules. 

I act as an External Examiner for the BA Media Production at the University of Hull and the MA in Production Management at Bournemouth University.

Creating a bridge between the media industries and educational providers has been a recurring theme throughout my career-including the following highlights. 

• Collaborating with the BBC on the design and delivery of the undergraduate Production Management degree at Edge Hill University.

• Creating an educational partnership between Edge Hill University and the Production Guild UK, a model which has since been rolled out to many more Higher Education settings including my current. institution The University of Salford.
